Super Mario Brothers Super Show
The Super Mario Brothers Super Show was aired in 1989 on syndicated television, created by DiC. It had 52 episodes of completely bizarre adventures in different lands of the Mushroom World. Each week, four episodes of a Mario cartoon would air (once per day) plus a Zelda cartoon on Fridays.
Also, before and after a cartoon, a live-action skit performed by the voice actors of Mario and Luigi (Captain Lou Albano and Danny Wells) and their weird stories in Brooklyn. Even though the animation and direction looked very sluggish, all in all, it was somewhat interesting.
