Super Mario World

Super Mario World was, of course, based off the Super Mario World game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. However this show, made by DiC, was made before the game was released in the United States. The information given, such as Yoshi and the dino world, was given by previews of the game. That is why the TV series looks like a Nintendo rip-off of the Flintstones.
